need to provid children, who are age 5-18 years old, with skills in the arts, such as, basic dance movements, drawing, painting,
and music styles in classical and jazz music, also theatrical concepts which will include: one act plays poetry and
musical theatre.

NARRATIVE Camp Idlewild of Michigan is a (NO
CHARGE) day camp. The Camp will serve as a catalyst for additional arts education offerings, and for
the establishment of ongoing ethnic heritage music and other learning opportunities and experience both in Idlewild and in surrounding
communities. The camp employes local teens as camp counselors and adults as assistants. It also serves as an investment
toward rebuilding a local pool of talented musicians, artists, poets, dancers and writers. The project will enhance
Idlewild's tourism heritage development by State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) and the Department of Natural Resourse
